It gives us great pleasure to write this testimony for Costa Constructions who have repeatedly upheld their brand of Excellence, Luxury and Lifestyle throughout our association with them.
We arrived on the Sunshine Coast approximately 3 years ago. We were formerly from Melbourne and were fortunate enough to live in an award winning architect designed home in Brighton. On our arrival at the Coast we set forth looking for a builder and designer who could provide us with a unique Queensland designed home that would meet our lifestyle needs. Along that journey we wanted to have fun and wanted to ensure that the people we worked with would also share a similar vision for our new home.
We were attracted to a display home in Birtinya that was sharp and edgy, light and bright and oozed quality. Our first meeting with Frank Gentile, Business CEO, Costa Constructions was a joy. He was extremely courteous and genuinely interested in what we were trying to achieve and sensitive to our needs. Soon thereafter we met the Principal Directors of Costas, Dean, Tony and Frank Senior.
As we carried out our research on the Sunshine Coast we repeatedly found that Costa Constructions truly had an enviable and unblemished reputation, not only from their former clients, but contractors and building suppliers alike. No-one spoke ill of Costas. They were known as a family who was sympathetic to the coast's community, landscape, climate and environment.
Costa's then introduced us to Michael Rotton, Principal Building Designer, MRA. Michael's creative concepts and passion for design was exhilarating and we quickly acknowledged that he would become the person responsible for drawing up the plans of our dream home.
Our journey with Costas' has spanned the past 6 months and it has been everything that we hoped for and more. We cannot speak highly enough of Costa Constructions, an organisation that has repeatedly proved its professionalism and outstanding knowledge of the industry but also a company that exudes high quality standards and a very strong commitment to client service. Every request was effortless.
They were responsive at all times, deadline driven but never compromised on quality. Each time we visited our home while under construction we were always proud to see the Costa Construction sign prominently featured on our site.
Today is our hand-over day, and while we are delighted to become the new owners of our Pelican Waters home, the experience will also be touched with a tinge of sadness that this wonderful journey and partnership is coming to a close.
Would we consider building with Costa Constructions again in the future? In a heart-beat!!

My wife Michelle and I moved to the Sunshine Coast over 5 years ago and in that time have rented 5 different properties. As a result, we were very eager to eventually build our own home since every place we had rented always had shortcomings. Not surprisingly, we had developed a long list of “must haves” to suit our lifestyle and needs. Once we had found our dream black, we went searching for the best building team to make the rest of our dream a reality. Though we knew of Costa Constructions and were impressed by their display homes and reputation, we thought to have one of their homes would be beyond our modest budget.
However, after seeing an advertisement for a very well priced designer home built by Costa of the size we wanted, I decided to investigate further. And after a few chats with Frank and the Costa team to detail our expectations, to our amazement, we discovered we could afford to have a custom designed Costa home!
From that point on, everything flowed so smoothly. The designers listened to our list of wants and needs and created a perfect design to match. The Costa team then provided guidance and help every step of the way and we knew at all times where the house was up to and what was happening next. For a fairly complex project (I have watched the Block ya know!), everything seemed so easy from our perspective. And when we wanted to make some last minute (and I suspect very inconvenient) changes to the structure and later the fit-out, the Costa team responded quickly and executed the changes without fuss.
We have now been living in our Costa designer home for over 3 weeks and simply love every aspect of our home, from the polished tiles to the stone bench tops, to the uninterrupted views to Mt Coolum and the sea breezes that flow though the house. Every aspect was designed to suit us, and every inclusion is what we had hoped for.
So our advice to anyone looking to build their dream home is, you HAVE TO talk to the team at Costa Constructions. You will be impressed.

My wife Jean and myself are absolutely delighted with the finish of our new home on Kawana Island, built by Costa Constructions.
Nothing was too much trouble for them --- even for last minute alterations to plans made during building.
Many friends have commented favourably on the completed project and some have stated their intention to use Costa Construction for their intended new homes.

On behalf of the Aon Risk Services, I would like to thank you for the excellent job that you and your tradespeople did with our recent renovation work at our Caloundra office in Otranto Street Caloundra.
Our expectation was challenging given the limited time frame that was afforded to you, as well as the fact that there were several tradespeople on site and any given time. The diligence that you took to schedule and organise each of the tradespeople involved was the sole reason this project was completed in such a exceptional way and a day a ahead of schedule.
Not only was the renovation completed before time, it was also completed within the limited budget that had been approved for this project. This also included the variations of work that you had recommended which improved the overall finish.
Throughout the project, I found Costa’s tradespeople to be friendly, professional and extremely thorough. The completed renovation looks outstanding and is widely considered as the pinnacle for office design and fit-out throughout Aon’s national regional branch network.
I would have no hesitation in using Costa Construction in the future and would highly recommend Costa’s to anyone for any project.

Costa Constructions is in the process of building our new waterfront home on Kawana Island. The house is almost at roof level and we have been most impressed with the manner in which they have approached our project. To date all deadlines have been met, both during the planning and construction phases, and we have found them most cooperative in any changes we wish to make. Their communication is good and we have no hesitation in recommending Costa Constructions to anyone wishing to build a home.

After designing my dream home I approached Costa Constructions to be the builder. Upon our first meeting I found the team at Costa's to be extremely helpful and efficient with any queries that I had. To build our 2 storey new home to fit into the landscape with the features we wanted seemed to be a big task. So we looked around and found the Costa Team, we presented the ideas we had to them and after a few meeting with them, we find tuned the drawings and that gave us what we were looking for. We maximize the great view we have from our elevated Block on one side, and a wide walk way on the other side leading from the second floor toward an outdoor carport with its own drive way allows us to access both level of the house with small or large items when there is a need. The advice planning and workmanship worked out well, so the house was ready on time for us to move in early July 2009.

When Pearl and I decided to build an investment duplex at Caloundra, we initially contacted a few building contractors and an interstate building company. We were impressed by the friendly and courteous treatment we received at Costa Constructions and felt very comfortable dealing with a local family business of sound and long-standing reputation. We had heard horror stories of fall-outs between builders and clients, but our first impressions of Costa Constructions were very good. When we started detailed design and planning for the duplex we welcomed the showroom that Costa had set up in their offices to display all the materials and fittings that we needed to make decisions about. This made the selection process much simpler and convenient than tripping around numerous suppliers. During the entire build, Costa's always maintained good communications with us and they were always obliging and a pleasure to deal with. The finished duplex was very well constructed by quality tradesmen who were retained by the company, and the architect-design of the building presented some challenges that the construction team met without any complications. In summary, we would certainly recommend Costa Constructions to others planning to build- they are a friendly and professional family business that produce high quality buildings with excellent finish.
